i left the house. we went for a lovely walk to swiss valley resevoir. and it helped me get out of my head a bit. sometimes i really just need to step away from the internet and breathe in some petrichor.
it was very frosty, but this is actually water! its this really big weir that comes off a resevoir. it made the most incredible rushing and roaring noise. there's a little cafe right by it too, but i was trying to be good so i did not stop for cake.
