+ snow on the beach

snow day!!
it actually snowed! we went out whilst it was coming down to walk moose along the beach and enjoy it. laura loved making snowballs. i've never walked on a beach in snow before and it was definitely an experience with the sand being frozen too. moose went wild with it, he was running around everywhere. i slipped over a fair few times trying to walk him back home, but it was a wonderful hour out of the house.

other than that i have been on the sofa most of the day, i have a really sore throat and am finding swallowing anything very difficult. i've managed two slices of toast today. and two cans of diet coke. dissolvable painkillers aren't doing anything and i am fed up. also annoyed because i was supposed to go to the dentist tomorrow for a checkup and now i don't know if they will see me or not. i played some assassin's creed 3, and read some alchemised and wasted some time on reels. laura and i played overcooked again. school is called off for her tomorrow because of the snow and ice. 

chris and i have finally watched episode 4 of house of guiness - jack gleeson is sort of taking me out of it a bit because i know its him, and also he somehow reminds me of the childcatcher, which is a shame because i think he's a great actor. 

first no spend day of the year completed too.
