Mar. 10th, 2026 10:03 pmi started listening to katabasis today and its very good so far, i love an intelligent book! i think rf kuang has a tendency to over intellectualise so we will see how it develops.
10.5 hour shift put in today, i did my normal hours, then stopped to make dinner for everyone. chris went to get logan earlier today so my little house is feeling very full. and LOUD. the dog doesnt know what to do with himself as all his favourite people are in one room, and therefore he keeps barking and i feel like i am going loopy.
i have finally put away all of the laundry that i did, and listed seven things on vinted. slightly hindered by me buying a new dress.... but on the plus side the stuff i have listed will outweigh the cost of what i bought, and seven things out for one in is a pretty good ratio. or something. i really need to stop buying things.
i am trying to wear everything in my wardrobe at least once, and then once it's washed i am hanging it back on the left hand side. its going... slowly. i am maybe a third of the way through. and there are things i know i won't wear again, but i really liked and i would be sad to let go. gah. on the plus side whilst digging things out i found the waterproof trousers for when chris does work with his brother. i also found my favourite topshop jeans and almost cried at how thin i used to be, and then broke the zip on my new-to-me disturbia green check skirt. will have to add it to the alterations pile ):
did my two hours overtime - rob at work managed to re-assign all the cases i'd done over the last three days to me - but it pulled in some more cases, so now it looks like i have done 474 cases today which is clearly not the case!! he is going to give me unlock permissions soon, i hope sooner rather than later as i am running out of project work and don't want to do normal stuff.
