ffoxi have had the moulin rouge stuck in my head ALL DAY.
woke up around 8, came down and logged on. rang chris to see what was going on, he was over halfway home. turns out aside from essentially sleeping on the floor in the cat litter room, they didn't offer him or amy a single thing to eat or drink whilst being there. they exist off biscuits and crisps, wanted everyone to buy them takeaways, and don't look after their animals properly. i am so annoyed about the whole thing. they should surrender the dog before it becomes a problem as its already resource guarding the baby. what an awful all around situation.
managed to do seven hours of OT today. i am so tired of working constantly but i know it will be worth it when pay rolls around. got quite a chunk of kingdom of ash listened to, then when chris got back i ordered a roast dinner from poppies because i forgot its easter sunday and everywhere is closed! it was sooo good. i was genuinely impressed. will make this a semi regular treat. went back to work which was a mistake as all i wanted to do was nap, watched some youtube, and then when i logged off collapsed on sofa.
decided enough was enough and i wanted to watch the housemaid damnit, so that is exactly what we did. it was an very fun adaptation, and i think off the back of that i can pretty much persuade chris to read thriller books - they're fun and easy and twisty. he didn't see all the twists coming which was good.
i did not stick to all my 75 softs, i had a rest day. oops. and a not counting calories day. double oops. but i think i needed it, and have also learned from it that regardless of anything else, the dog needs to be walked so he isn't so over excitable constantly.
chris has decided to be sober for a bit which i am very glad for. it's been a nice day and i'm glad to have him home.
